It looked like it should be strong enough and so we sent the smallest kid across first and it held so the rest of us followed. That was when Boy Scouts meant real hikes and real campouts, and I was running track (miler) at the time, so five miles wasn't even a question. Serves you right. And so on! I learned how to ride a bike when I was six or seven. I wanted the Radio Knife (above), but dad said the electric bill would be too high.
